So, here is a quick explanation on what I'm trying to pull off. If you are like me and disgusted about this whole economical collapse and bailout of corporations and banks and hard working people who cannot find work and are losing their homes, check this out. I'm proposing for the month of December, the whole world refuses to pay interest fees on all outstanding credit/banking fees. The reason being is because these people that collect the money simply don't need it. We have the power to choose where our money goes and why not give it to someone in need. For me personally I spend about $300 a month simply in interest charges. Lets use that money to help the people out who are in the worst situation. With the holiday season approaching there is no reason why someone who gets a million dollar bonus a year needs your money. Lets use the money to fill hungry bellies and put smiles on kids faces. Lets put this money into food and shelter and toys for innocent children who (and there are THOUSANDS) may not receive a gift for Christmas, and how heartbreaking is that? I encourage you to join my campaign on twitter with the hashtag #nointerestinDecember and pass along the message and hopefully people will get on board. Even if you don't want to take this step, short change your credit card bill by $5 and put that into a Salvation Army kettle, every little bit can help! No one will hassle you for $5...and if so, it's just an angry phone call..who cares. I totally understand if you can't get on board with the idea, but if you can, I encourage you to do so. So pass the message along and hopefully at least one person in need can benefit from this! And I leave you with these parting words from the powerful Rage Against the Machine TAKE THE POWER BACK!

Conspiracy Theories: KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid)
Alright, so about time I got back on here and threw down. It's taken me a while to come up with an idea of what to talk about, what to say and honestly who really gives a fuck what I have to say? So late last night I was in the midst of one of those youtube black holes where you just keep clicking on related videos (chances are if you are a pot smoker you've been there done that, many times) and I came across a rare home video of the airplane hitting the second tower on 9/11. So I posted it to my twitter account just to share with people because it's a wild view:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UUT7yup-YIg
So anyways, I posted nothing on my beliefs of the matter and no opinion and out of the blue some guy who I don't follow replies and this is direct quote "9/11 was an inside job Bldg 7 is the smoking gun. Never hit by plane 47 Stry building collapses in own footprint !" Right away I was immediately pissed off for two reasons. First, this asshole felt he just had to state his opinion, when really no one was asking for it and it wasn't even in a debating matter because I stated nothing about what I thought about the events, my post was: "craziest view of the 2nd plane hitting on 911 I've ever seen!" So immediately I am turned off by what this jerk off has to say, another typical asshole who feels he needs to be heard when no one really asked to hear what he has to say (yes I realize the irony of writing a blog and what I just stated.) Second reason I was pissed is why most people would be. Thousands died that day, people suffered horrors no one could possibly imagine (check out videos of people jumping to their death rather than burning.) So now I invite you to come along with me while I systematically disprove and tear this knob a new asshole with simple knowledge and common sense, and not just some bullshit I read off an internet page or seen on a video that anyone could of written, shot or edited.
Alright, first off I AM NOT saying I am right. I am not going be one of those asses that states he knows and everyone who is against it is wrong; however, I am going state my opinion here and just make common sense points that I feel make the most sense out of anything. Ok, so building 7 seems to be the big "smoking gun" that everyone says proves it was a government set up. Why did it collapse? Well the big theory is that it was a controlled demolition. Why did it fall so perfect onto itself? Why did it collapse almost 7 hours later than the twin towers? Why can you hear explosions in building 7?
Point 1: Alright, this is probably the most simple, the damn building collapsed because it was massively damaged by 2 of the biggest buildings in the world collapsing earlier that day within a block of it. We've all seen the amount of debris that came down, some of those damn pieces were HUNDREDS of tons of burning steel that were falling close to terminal velocity. That's a lot of god damn force and for you whiz kids out there Force = Mass x Acceleration. In simple terms heavy objects that are falling at an accelerating rate fuck shit up. So there, I think that can start us off at a good point of solving this mystery, the debris from the falling twin towers initiated the destruction of tower 7
Point 2: SEISMIC ACTIVITY! Don't ya think that having two towers each weighing approx 450,000,000 tons falling 1450 feet would shake the ground a little bit? I'd think so, maybe enough that it could damage the structural integrity of the buildings within a block of it just a tiny bit? I think it's pretty hard to ignore this fact and probably had something to do with shaking some things loose in other buildings (gas lines, electrical wires, etc)
Point 3: Why was there fire and explosions. Same reasons why some cars explode when they crash. You mix energy with a combustible fuel source and oxygen and there ya go fire! Why were the fires only on certain levels, well there is a whole mix of reasons, it was, in lack of better terms, luck of the draw. What hit what and what combustible source was on each floor, is unknown so the fires randomly happened where they happened. As far as the explosions people think were planted explosives, well this can easily be explained. Buildings are full of all sorts of stuff that can explode. Maybe natural gas lines feeding the building finally gave into the stress and heat. Electrical transformers finally gave out from overheating, have you ever seen one of those explode in the summer during a brownout? They go off like a motherfucker! Any volatile chemicals, lets say cleaning closets full of organic compounds (carbon oxygen and hydrogen based) would go off like a rocket ship. So there are a few possibilities why explosions were heard.
Point 4: So I am going to explain this point by what a civil engineer specializing in structural steel with over 30 years experience explained to me. Buildings are actually designed to collapse onto themselves. The outter steel shell of the building is actually the strongest and beefiest. With the inner structural steel structure being less dense (not the steel itself but amount used.) This design technique is used in order for the building to collapse onto itself in case it's structural integrity is compromised by either vertical or horizontal forces.
Point 5: This one is just gonna be based on common sense. Why would they even bother to destroy building 7? There's no way the collapsing of a building that doesn't even stand out in the New York skyline would have any kind of dramatic impact of what already happened earlier that day and wasn't that the whole point of the attacks? (no matter who you think planned them) There's no significance to building 7 in this regard, it wasn't a world renowned landmark. Do you ever hear people, other than conspiracy theorists, talk about building 7? No! The only images and thoughts of that day in New York were the towers collapsing. So really, what was the point? Seems very insignificant for dramatic effect for a 47 story building to collapse 7 hours later. Plus why 7 hours? Why not 5 or 4 or 10? This just doesn't seem to me that it came down on purpose or was targeted by anyone.
Alright so there are some thoughts of mine on the matter. Feel free write back and level me with some knowledge if you wish, but for myself, the common sense approach seems to be the best way to decipher this issue, in other words, keep it simple stupid!

The Ultimate Fighter 4/20-2011
So I’m sitting down getting ready to watch The Ultimate Fighter, one of my favourite shows. Honestly there is no better way to spend a Wednesday night than watching two kids bash each others heads in for a shot to not have to fight for sandwiches in a barn in Tennessee anymore. This shit gets me pumped! People putting it all on the line for 15 minutes of fame. God bless them! Time for the show to start…here we go bitches!
So the show starts out with the typical montage of training videos pasted together with a listing of 95% forgettable names who later in their career will be KOing the ‘Tim Sylvia’s’ of their time. What’s the name of the song in the opening? And why hasn’t it ever been changed, bah fuck it! Time to train!
JDS opens with his wrestling coach bitchin about Lesnar’s team not working hard enough. Typical work until your heart stops beating attitude of a wrestling coach. I love it!
Alright this Lesnar training session is boring as fuck until Lesnar starts bitchin out his team for not seizing the opportunity and blah nothing happens…move on.
Jokester segment time! Charlie and Chuck are brothers from different mothers apparently acting like a bunch of joking hugging homos in the house, so I’m ultra excited to see the possibility of them bashing each others heads in on a future episode. Cut the crap fellas, you’re there to kill eachother! We don’t need another Fitch/Koscheck situation in the UFC. Fight announcement time!
JDS picks Ramsey (JDS) vs Charlie (Lesnar) looks like it could be a good scrap! Commercial……
So, time to focus on the dudes about to scrap. Ramsey is apparently the jokester who is the gay member of the house and is using it to a psychological advantage. A clever ploy, will it turn out to his advantage, I’m hooked to find out! GOD DAMN well written TV!
The Lesnar team got to train with Matt Hughes, and Charlie looks to have taken a lot from it, kid looks respectable, hope he’s a good fighter, hope Matt hangs ‘em up sooner than later, #respect
Commercial…….
I love how Brazilians say Ju-jeeeeeeeeeeeetsu, it’s just awesome! Not a whole lot happening just showing training of both fighters, gotta say I’m gonna pick Charlie, kid looks sharp!
Another Commercial really? In review: not much really has happened in this episode, no drama, nothing, can someone pee on a mattress or something please, lets make this interesting!
Side Note: I can now choke bitches out thanks to Jason ‘The Athlete” Macdonald, thanks bro! Good luck at 129!
Weigh-in time. Yes Charlie has a Jesus tattoo. Love that shit, Jesus didn’t tap! Yeah that’s because he couldn’t get his hands free for some reason! Both square off. Brock questions his fighter’s manhood by telling him, in lesser words, to not lose to a fagot. (Brock said he can’t lose to a man who paints his toenails, but we know what he really meant)
The dude who was stripping earlier in the episode just stated he acts the same way in front of his grandma. Wow, odd Thanksgiving. Both fighters come to the octagon, here we go bitches!
Commercial……refueled (happy holidays everyone)
DING! Fight starts and so far a hug fest against the fence not much to note other than Ramsey has some Arabic tattoo on his back. I can’t help to think that doesn’t help him get through airport security any easier. BOOM groin shot from an inside knee, fighters break. Hug fest again, Ramsey is gonna Couture this one out I think. Man good technical fight, but boring as fuck Ramsay with a late takedown, 2nd of the round and finishes the round on top of Charlie. Round one done, Ramsey is up 1-0 I believe.
Commercial…Fuck, the stare down is some intense shit cool segments tonight on Sportsnet.
Round 2 starts….Ramsey hugs, drags down Charlie, someone is bleeding, it may be Ramsey’s vagina, who knows. Just as I wrote that last sentence fight is over, what happened!?
Oh rear naked choke, everyone thinks Charlie gave up, Brock Lesnar is throwing a fit, Dana White talks about what it takes to be a fighter. Brock bitches out his team about being chicken shit and choking, I love how the camera zooms into the left side of the face as he says it and it clearly shows the scar Cain Velasquez gave him, god bless HD TV.
Episode over, lesson learned: Paint your toenails bitches!
Some mediocre commercial leaves me with minimal suspense about next weeks episode leaves me wanting more, but not much more.
Wow I gotta say I picked a shitty episode for my first Ultimate Fighter blog, pretty un-eventful, looked like it could of been a promising fight but Charlie couldn’t pull the trigger, oh well maybe next weeks episode will be better! Time for hockey highlights, peace out!
PS: If my writing seems like nonsense at some points please note the date.

Podcasts and the Technological Revolution
Never before in the history of mankind has there ever been a more exciting and interactive time to live in. We are in the midst of a Technological revolution. Never before have we ever been able to connect with others in the way we are able to now and the future only promises more! We has human beings have finally come to the conclusion that we are only limited to our imaginations and no better example of this is the internet. Who would of thought even 10 years ago we could carry a device small enough to fit into our pockets that could connect us to ANYONE in the entire world in real time. The development of this lifestyle is very new and god damn am I ever excited for the future! Social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook now allow us to connect with friends and family and even strangers, in incredible ways. If it's just sharing funny videos, passing along pictures of grandchildren or keeping up with your favourite celebrities, we are now able to do it in mere seconds. Gone are the days of having to go to libraries and looking at encyclopedias for new and interesting information, now it is all at our finger tips. But even now, this technology and social networking are old news. This is just my opinion, maybe you agree/disagree, but the future of communication and entertainment are podcasts. Simply put, for the uninformed, podcasts are usually an audio file (sometimes video) of talk shows, that allow the artists to communicate with their listeners in an uncensored manner that is free from restraints of the FCC or television execs that tend to manipulate the artists work. I recently in the past year have become a fan of podcasts and cannot be more happy I discovered this medium. I first got hooked on podcasts by discovering the Joe Rogan Experience, a usually two time a week show featuring comic and UFC commentator Joe Rogan and his friend Brian 'Redban' Reichle. The Joe Rogan experience is a fascinating show because it explores a plethora of topics from comedy, mma, world events, technology, pornstars, psychedelic experiences and more in an open environment free from execs who feel they need to have the artists act in a certain way because they provide the cash in order to make the show happen. It's a refreshing feeling to finally see media like this being presented to the world where people can broadcast to potentially millions of listeners/viewers in an honest open minded format that allows the listener to take what they will from the artists projections and allow our brains to process the information in a way we feel pleasing and will help us grow. In my opinion there is no greater medium that allows people to express their opinions, hear others and discuss and learn from each other, because no two people are alike and we can all learn from one another and grow in a positive way. One terrific example of debate and open discussion and difference of opinions, which inspired this writing, came on today's Joe Rogan Experience, which featured guest, comedian Bill Burr. After a solid two and a half hour discussion of various topics the topic of Stitcher and podcast sharing and advertising came up and did contrasting opinions ever start to fly! Comedian Bill Burr clearly stated his opinion of Stitcher stealing his podcast and attaching advertising to make money for themselves and showing Bill no compensation until he pressed legal action. To sum it up in a short manner, Burr was displeased with Stitcher for placing his podcast on their application without his permission and attaching advertising to it which in turn made them money and they offered him no compensation, until he came after them with legal action. I totally agree with Burr and his beef with Stitcher, his work is making them money and they are using it without his permission, kind of reminds me of concert ticket scalpers, which I consider pretty much the scum of the earth. However, Redban (Brian Reichle) had a different opinion of the matter, which I tend to agree with more. One must realize the nature of the beast that they are getting involved with. Basically the internet is the largest form of media, which also intern is the most manipulated by people that are looking to make money in any way that they can. When you post something on the internet, you have to realize once it is released, in whatever format it may be, it is up for manipulation, re-editing and stealing and if it is popular for sure there are going to be people wanting to attach themselves to it to make a buck, simply and sadly put, that's human nature. Perhaps also that is the beauty of the internet, it's whatever you make it out to be, almost a wild west cyberworld of no rules, which can manipulate your work and make others money from it, but also gives you the forum to do whatever you please also. Fighting these "cyber scalpers' as I will call them, in my opinion, seems pointless. The fight has been done before, anyone remember Napster 10 years ago? Sure it was shut down eventually; however, and I'll admit it I usually get my music from other free download sources that have come along since then. It reminds me of this so called 'war on drugs.' Sure you can bust a trafficker at a border but everyone knows there is just going to be another that will take their place instantly, as long as money is to be made. This discussion on The Joe Rogan experience was absolutely fascinating in my opinion because it addressed an issue that is new, one that is our generations and one that will grow into the future. That is the beauty of podcasts and open discussion right there, two or more people can have different opinions of issues, state them in an uncensored environment and allow the listener to process each side, pull from the good and bad of each, become more educated and develop their own opinion on a topic that they perhaps would never look into. Well enough of me rambling, but today's events were so incredibly inspiring I felt I needed to spew some thoughts. Below are a couple of links to some of the podcasts I frequently watch/listen to: The Joe Rogan Experience and The Deathsquad family; check them out, open your mind and grow, but also keep exploring what's out there in this computer universe and share what you find with others! We can all grow in a positive manner from this unlimited ability to share information with others!

MMA Judging...Is There a Fix?
MMA Judging....Is There a Fix?
With recent controversial decisions in the past two UFC events and many other MMA fights in the past, fans are left with a feeling of dissatisfaction and almost anger having seen their favourite fighter be robbed on a close decision and even missing out on perhaps a title shot. With any sport that is being judged comes controversy and MMA is no exception to the rule. The fastest growing sport in the world has most recently come under scrutiny from the fans, fighters and even promoters for its latest string of controversial decisions and it's about time something be done about it. First off, I'm just a regular fan, in no way am I going to pretend I know what it takes to step into a cage and what criteria it takes in order to win a fight. Unless you train, in all aspects of the sport, you really cannot be qualified to judge MMA so I won't pretend I can, unlike some others. Perhaps the judges in place now are qualified in one aspect of the game, as I hear most of them are boxing judges, but are they qualified to judge the intricacies of rubber guard? The answer is simply no. I'd like to throw some ideas out there, just to spit ball, open up some discussions and get people talking about what can improve the sport we all love.
1. Qualified Judges...This MUST Happen!
We need people who know all aspects of this sport behind the score cards. These un-educated judges have to go. Would you want a Urologist performing open heart surgery on you? No, even though both are Dr's each one has their specialty. There needs to be professional MMA judges, athletic commissions should have MMA divisions, with qualified people, instead of boxing judges/politicians behind the scorecards.
2. Eliminate the 10 Point Must System
Is it me or does it seem silly judging one sport on another sport's criteria? Adopting the boxing 10 point must system worked in the early days of MMA but with more dynamic fighters and higher quality competition and closer fights this system is becoming outdated. In boxing the rounds are 3 minutes and awarding points is based solely on strikes landed with the fighters hands. How can the same system translate over to a 5 minute round where pretty much anything goes? There's so much more going on and in a longer time period. Perhaps a 20 point system or more use of 10-8 or even 10-7 scoring. It just doesn't make sense for a round where one fighter lands maybe 1 or 2 more strikes to receive the same score as a fighter who would dominate an entire round perhaps landing 10+ more strikes than their opponent.
3. More Judges?
Why only have 3 judges? Why not have 5 or maybe 7. With more people judging there will be a greater census of who truly wins. With a 3 judge system it allows 1 judge alone to have an impact where their opinion alone can determine the winner of the fight. No matter what everyone will have biases. Opinion of fighters, personality and crowd response can easily manipulate one's perspective of things and that alteration of thinking should not potentially have control over who wins a fight. With more judges perhaps more perspectives of the fight are taken into consideration when determining a winner.
4. A Judge for Each Aspect
Here's where I start thinking out of the box. Why not have one judge for each aspect of the game? Say perhaps have a pro K1 fighter judge striking based on a compustrike system and have it entered into a computer system. Then, have a world class wrestler and/or Jiu Jitsu blackbelt judge the ground game based on a system similar to wrestling with points awarded for control, advantageous positions obtained, holding an opponent in a position for a certain period of time (riding points) and have them entered into a computer also. Once each judge enters the data based on their findings have it computed by a program that has a programmed algorithm of what each point for each aspect is worth in the grand scheme and have a printout of the final score??
5. Introduce the Passivity Rule
Nobody likes a boring fight! Too many times fighters will know they are ahead by 2 rounds to 0 and will play it safe and coast for the third round. Everyone pays to see a fight, fighters train to fight, so lets see it! Based on the points system that is in place now why not have the threat to have a point taken away in the final round if a fighter runs away. Lets put the threat of losing the fight in the fighters mind if they only fight for two thirds of the fight, make each round count! Let each round possibly determine the winner of the fight, not just by KO or submission, but have it in the fighters mind that even though they are well ahead on the score cards, playing it safe could possibly cost them the fight.
The above are just a few ideas I've thought of that could MAYBE change some of the judging problems in MMA. I also realize I contradict some of my own points; however, the point of my writing is just to start a brainstorm of ideas and not me stating what needs to be done. Again I would like to state in no way do I know what it is like to fight and in no way am I qualified to say what is right and what is wrong, I'm not that drunk dude in the bar wearing an Affliction shirt and thinks he's a badass and has to have his opinion heard...lol but I am a fan and have been since the very beginning and as an observer I am just trying to get some discussions going in order to improve my favourite sport. Only good can come from listening to others opinions and having them hear yours, everyone becoming more educated can never be a bad thing! So please write back, express your ideas of what could be done, or just tell me I am plain full of shit with my ideas all feedback is welcome!
